The major award will equip learners with a high standard of administrative, business, financial and essential IT skills for the modern office.
Modules include: Information and Administration, Text Production, Customer Service, Word Processing, Text Production, Work Experience, Spreadsheet Methods, Communications.
This course offers progression options for learners to programmes in Universities and Institutes of Technology. Students who complete this major QQI award at Level 5 are eligible to apply through the CAO system for entry into participating courses in the QQI Higher Education Links Scheme (HELS)
Graduates go on to secure employment in administrative affairs within a range of service- related industries, including hotels, schools, hospitals, financial/accountancy practices and within the retail sector.

Pay In Full – €1,395
Pay In Instalments – €1,500
(€375 deposit & 3 monthly instalments paid consecutively of €375 starting when the course begins)
Progressive College are committed to providing equal access to education and equal opportunities for mature students (23 years +). Mature applicants do not need to match school-leavers in terms of academic achievement, provided there is evidence of the ability to pursue and benefit from the course, but candidates must be 23 years of age or over on the 1st January of the year of entry to their programme of study. Mature students must also have proficiency in the English language.
Assessment / Examinations:
Alternative assessments are in place to facilitate students who are unable to find placement due to current L5 COVID19 restrictions.
