Our Healthcare Courses are nationally accredited HIQA recommended QQI major and minor award programmes. They are specifically for learners looking to work as Healthcare Assistants, those who wish to progress into Nursing Degree programmes, or to work in the Healthcare Sector.

The Healthcare Support/Nursing Studies award facilitates the learners’ understanding of the needs of their clients in relation to the preservation of their independence, respect, dignity, choice and self-esteem. Once qualified, rewarding career opportunities will be open to successful graduates in the expanding healthcare sector This includes positions in nursing homes, hospitals, daycare centres, or in private home care.

The Healthcare Support course is perfect for those who are looking to work as a healthcare assistant in a variety of settings. This course provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of the healthcare system and is also highly practical.

Our Health Services Supervisory Management course is for those already employed or seeking work as senior care assistants with supervisory responsibilities in a hospital, nursing home, daycare centre or in-home care.

Our Care for the Older Person course is intended to provide learners with the competencies to meet and support needs of older people effectively and to a high standard using best practice while adhering to current legislative and regulatory requirements. 

Meanwhile, our Palliative Care Support course is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge, skills and competencies to understand how palliative care enhances the quality of life of those living with life-limiting progressive conditions and their families.
