The Advanced Certificate in Early Learning & Care with Montessori is a comprehensive training programme at Level 6 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), specifically designed to equip aspiring educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of Early Learning & Care, with a Montessori focus. This program offers an exciting curriculum that combines theoretical understanding with practical application, preparing students to become proficient Montessori educators. Through a blend of interactive lectures, workshops, and professional practice placement experiences, students will develop a deep understanding of Montessori principles and pedagogy, while also ensuring adherence to the quality and curriculum frameworks of Aistear & Siolta. Upon successful completion of the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning & Care with Montessori, students will be well-prepared to pursue fulfilling careers as Montessori educators in a variety of early learning and care settings, making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Garda Vetting is a legal requirement under the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016 for the vetting of persons carrying out work with children or vulnerable persons.
Students must complete the Garda Vetting process before commencing work placement.
Students who have spent more than 6 months living outside of Ireland will need to provide a copy of their Police Clearance Certification for all international addresses that they have lived at, before starting placement.

Course Award
Learners can be enrolled directly onto the ELC Level 6 programme and be certified with a Certificate in Early Learning and Care – Level 6 when complete.
